Abstract

I'm fighting against chronic diseases.

Introduction - Hi there, I am Alaedine, resident in vascular medicine in Paris, France. I am pursuing a PhD in multimodal artificial intelligence for clinical decision making at Sorbonne University, alongside with Zoī and APHP.

Objective - My aim is to reduce / root out the burden of chronic disease that decimate healthspan. Our predecessors, such as Louis Pasteur and Alexander Fleming, succeeded in combating acute diseases. It is now our responsibility to find effective solutions against chronic diseases.

Methods - In 2022, I decided to specialize in vascular medicine to exactly do that. Then, I started a PhD in 2024 to elaborate and evaluate a multimodal machine learning to help doctors take the best possible decision in cardiovascular prevention.

Materials - I have the pleasure of working at the LIMICS Lab, in partership with the European Hospital and Zoī.

Results - The results of my work are mostly academics (publications, oral interventions and posters) and are available in the action log. Sometimes, I'd appear on podcasts or social media too - twists of fate :-) .
